a soy candle made in central Ohio The pitch: a good-smelling candle to help rejuvenate your energy
The process: I burned this periodically in my kitchen, which is central and open.
Pros:
The candle emits an aroma that you can smell immediately and consistently, even in a room that's large and open. But it's not overwhelming. I especially liked the Energy scent; it's crisp and light.
Cons:
The jar is plain and simple -- glass, with a screw-on lid and a Mantras sticker. So if you're looking for a candle that doubles as a decoration, this isn't what you want. (For men, especially, this could be a positive thing. This might be the least girlie-looking candle I've seen.)
Bottom line: No, it isn't decorative. But the candle offers more than many "pretty" ones do -- a good, true scent that lasts.
