OM SHANTI

In Sanskrit, OM SHANTI is a mantra which extends personal and global peace to all.  Placed near an entryway, it bestows good tidings for personal and global peace to all who enter and exit.

The syllable "OM" is commonly voiced as a prefix to mantras of all kinds because it is the seed sound for the sixth chakra, where masculine and feminine energies meet at the center of the brow.
