HARI OM is the mantra
of healing. We are provided with a variety of ways to tackle life's difficulties, and meditation, prayer, or being in a spiritual space are vehicles "to take away" (the literal meaning of Hari)
impurities and negativity that bring about grief and sickness so that health and strength are conserved for the purpose of finding self-realization and spiritual experience.
The syllable "OM"
is commonly voiced as a prefix to mantras of all kinds because it is the seed sound for the sixth chakra, where masculine and feminine energies meet at the center of the brow.
Each spiritual
journey takes a different path but all are heading the same direction. On each path, however, one must control the restlessness of the mind so that healing can take place. Repetition of this
healing and meditative mantra will allow a narrow of focus necessary for the climb to the top of the spiritual mountain.
